Oceanfront Dining at its Finest

Eat Your Way through the Culinary Delights of Laguna Beach.

I'm not going to lie. During the summer months, these Laguna Beach restaurants will have a long wait time, but each oceanfront dining experience is WORTH IT. Dine right on the beach, along a seaside cliff, or on the rooftop of a hotel. Whichever one of these oceanfront restaurants in Laguna Beach you choose, their ocean views are UNFORGETTABLE, even on a cloudy day!

Local's tip: Try to make your dinner reservation in advance, or go during an off-time (before 5:30 pm or after 8:30 pm). Another option, put your name in early and pass the time shopping in downtown Laguna! Most of these restaurants are located next to lovely boutique stores and art galleries (sorry, guys!).

THE DECK, because you can't get any closer to the beach!

Located at the Pacific Edge Hotel on Sleepy Hollow Beach, The Deck offers cool cocktails, traditional apps, and seafood entrees. Open for lunch and dinner, this casual restaurant is a must-try for their oceanfront restaurant views. The Deck now takes limited reservations.

ROOFTOP, nestled on the top of a two-story hotel!

Located on the roof of La Casa del Camino Hotel, the Rooftop is famous in Orange County. It's the perfect place for sunset cocktails and appetizers. Summer months are prime season, so you will likely have to stand around the bar area until a table opens up. Tables offered on a first-come, first serve basis, so get there early if you can!

SPLASHES, oceanfront dining that really splashes.

Located at the Surf and Sand Resort, Splashes offers both a restaurant and bar/lounge area. It's the perfect Laguna Beach restaurant for a special occasion, where guests can enjoy culinary delights and prime Pacific Ocean views.  Their menu is more pricey than other Laguna Beach restaurants, but you definitely get what you pay for! For a more casual ambiance, retreat to their oceanfront bar area, with large windows that open up to crashing ocean waves!

THE CLIFFS, dine right on the cliffs of Laguna Beach!

The Cliffs Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach. This outdoor, oceanfront restaurant offers impeccable views of Main Beach and is the perfect spot to watch the sun fall into the Pacific. In addition, it's white picket-fence alongside the restaurant tables offers charm to this restaurant. Customers can also enjoy their FREE shuttle!

LAS BRISAS, Spanish fare along a seaside bluff.

Las Brisas is well-known for their Spanish fare and weekend brunch in Laguna Beach. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining, this restaurant is a favorite during the summer and winter. It's more upscale and pricy than most restaurants in Laguna Beach; however, their patio is more casual and popular during the summer months. The dining room takes reservations, but the patio is a first-come, first-serve basis.

OCEANVIEW BAR & GRILL, a hotel restaurant in downtown Laguna.

Formerly known as Clae's, the OceanView Bar & Grill is part of Hotel Laguna, offering both indoor and outside seating with premier ocean views. It's a more casual restaurant in Laguna Beach, that recently underwent a renovation. Enjoy drinks, apps, and dinner all year long!

MOZAMBIQUE, a South African delight with a rooftop patio coming soon!

Mozambique offers tasty South African dishes in its spacious 2-story building. Downstairs offers more fine dining, while their upstairs area is popular for its drinks, apps, and live reggae music. Customers can also enjoy their FREE shuttle!

Scenic dining update: Mozambique is building a rooftop bar that will open in fall 2013!
